"Well the top two teams in D2 had a 1-3 record against the top in D1. Granted CW and PV could both beat Ervinton and Castlewood but even had they played that would only even the record."

The top seed was PV and the beat the 2nd seed in d-1 pretty handily and would have done the same against the 3rd and 4th seed.

The 2nd seed was Haysi, they were pretty much on even terms with the d-1 2nd seed but did not play them. They beat the 3rd seed in d-1 34-0 and would have done the same against the d-1 4th seed.

The 3rd seed in d-2 was Clintwood and they also would have killed both the 3rd and 4th seed in d-1 and probably would have beaten the 2nd seed if they had played them toward the end of the year.

The 4th seed was Honaker and they would have unquestionably handled the d-1 3rd and 4th seeded teams and many would've picked them to beat the 2nd seed also.

In reality there is not much comparison if you go from top to bottom.
